
As a Senior Associate, Gregg Starr plays a vital role in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities. His work includes conducting due diligence, supporting portfolio companies, and assisting with deal flow and portfolio management.
Prior to joining the BIP Ventures team, Gregg worked in an investing arm of KSL Capital, focused on select-service assets. Before KSL Capital, Gregg earned his JDMBA, working part-time in private equity at various middle-market PE shops and in the private equity practice of Kirkland and Ellis. Before graduate school, he spent three years at Deloitte. Gregg started his career as an Army ranger. He served for five years, home stationed in Italy and deployed to Afghanistan.
Gregg earned a J.D. from Northwestern Law and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from West Point. Gregg has also completed coursework in Biochemical Engineering at Stanford.
